No, this isn't a joke! Not much information yet, but someone at Autoblog caught a trunk open on a car that was covered. It had the words King Cobra! A few minutes later, a couple pictures showed up on Ford's site!

Update: So this is clearly a car meant for drag racing, however I'm confused because there's mufflers. The official Ford announcement is at 3PM EST, so we'll find out more then.

even if it's a drag set up they HAVE to sell it with mufflers. You think they're going to sell a non street-legal car from the factory?

Yes, the Cobra Jet. That had no mufflers, I'm thinking this is the CJ replacement but the mufflers are saying otherwise. I don't see much of a roll cage either. We'll find out in a few hours!

1 I believe this is purely a concept

2 I believe it's intended to be a streetable vehicle, the CJ wasn't.
